No. Barbie Girls, Glitter Girls, and Sugar Rush are beginner-friendly. Speed welcomes beginners after an evaluation, and Nitro is best for athletes with existing Level 2 skills.
What ages can join Powerhouse Cheer?
Current team options serve athletes from age 4 through 16, with team placement based on age, experience, and evaluation when required.
Are competitions beginner-friendly?
Yes. Events are selected to give athletes an exciting but supportive introduction to performing and competing.
How do tryouts work?
Tryouts are private evaluations for teams that require placement. The goal is to understand each athlete's current skills and recommend the right team.
